Binibeca, which is only 20 minutes from Mahon, the island's capital, offers a beautiful laid-back vibe. Mahon, the island's capital, is only 20 minutes away by car and has a ton of upscale stores to visit for even more shopping options. The cobblestone streets in Binibeca Vell are lined with an excellent selection of cafes, taverns, and restaurants that lead to the sea. The majority of the restaurants are neighborhood spots serving traditional Spanish cuisine along with a wide selection of fresh fish. People pause for food, drinks, and shade from the sun in the pedestrianized area encircling the hamlet, where the streets are lined with tables and seats. On the far east side of the resort, near Cala Torret, a small number of eateries can be found along the coast, some of which have views of the water.

Beaches in Binibeca Vell

The central beach in Binibeca is a small cove with soft sand and a wonderful rustic beach bar with chairs right by the water. There are restrooms and plenty of parking on the street above the beachfront, and during the peak months, sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented. The beach is protected by rough rocks that make it perfect for snorkeling and exploring rock pools while also keeping it safe.

The settlement of Binisafuller, which has a few restaurants nearby where you can stop for lunch, is further up the coast, past the much smaller sandy beach.

The Splash! waterpark is a short drive from Binibeca in the nearby community of Biniancolla, and kids will loooove spending time there. The park is ideal for staying cool on hot, sunny days because it offers a variety of saltwater pools and slides, a jacuzzi, lazy river, play area, and snack bar.There are some fantastic photo opportunities to be found when leisurely driving or wandering around the resort while taking in the seaside beauty. One of the most popular photo locations on the island is the tiny harbour located near Binibeca Vell, where the coastline is bordered by curvy arches.Only 20 minutes separate Binibeca from the spectacular capital of the island, Mahon.
