The ideal destination for a relaxed, far-from-it-all vacation is Trapezaki. Our villas are situated on a hill surrounded by olive orchards, midway between the resorts of Lassi and Skala, with a spectacular view of Mount Énos in the distance. Around the resort, there are a few tavernas and mini-marts to choose from. Trapezaki beach, is just one kilometer away, et with golden sand and and crystal blue seas.
The capital city of Argostoli and the Venetian St. George's Castle are both nearby and make for a great day of sightseeing. The majestic Mount Ainos dominates Kefalonia's west coast, and you may explore its lush pine-covered slopes while taking in the views of the Ionian Sea below. You might opt to go to the nearby Omola Valley vineyards and buy some wine to drink at your home.
Local shops, markets & bars
The everyday necessities can be found in a mini-market in Trapezaki. There are several small shops in the surrounding resort of Lourdas where you can buy supplies for your villa and beach gear. Argostoli is a nice town to visit with fruit and vegetable shops and bakers. It is around 20 minutes by car to the major supermarkets that are located on the outskirts of the town. You can buy a ton of locally crafted goods to take home as well.
Trapezaki beach makes perfect choice if you wish for a holiday spend with your family or friends, with it's golden sands and very calm waters. When you feel hungry, there is a taverna on the beach, where you may rent parasols and sunbeds. To go to the next resort, Lourdas, which has a long, white sand and pebble beach and is regarded as one of Kefalonia's most beautiful beaches, you can take a stroll along the coast if you're feeling energetic. In Trapezaki, another choice is St. Thomas' Beach. It's little wonder the locals adore it—a it's charming beach with room to create sandcastles, a few tavernas, and a snack bar when you need a break from the sun. With a rocky region off to one side of the beach, it's also a fantastic place for snorkeling.
